Presite Assessments

The SIM Corp. Project Team assists growers with the selection of areas which show potential for new development for both finfish and shellfish aquaculture. Project Managers and a Project Biologist work with the grower to assess the physical attributes of candidate sites by evaluating the bathymetry, temperature profiles, current, flora, fauna and potential impacts of other resource users on the proposed development. The details and explanations of the analysis and tests are then delivered to the grower in the form of a detailed report. This data can then be extracted from the report to form part of the site application.
